Happy Easter 2012

We started on Saturday with an Easter Egg hunt at the church! The girls were excited and ready to go!!




See this silly face that Janie is making....this is her new face when I say "Smile". I get this crazy, scrunched nose smile!!
Here it is again!! She has a beautiful smile--we need to work on showing it when asked :):)

After church we visited a local covered bridge to get some sweet pictures!







Then home for a yummy lunch and nap! After the nap, the girls discovered that the Easter Bunny had left eggs in the backyard!!


Ending the day by playing with thier new cars!!

Silly Videos!!

So I love taking videos of my girls. Although, Lexie always wants to "see it" and will usually stop whatever she is doing and get me to show it to her...she doesn't get it that if she is not in front of the camera there is nothing for me to film!

Janie has begun a cheer class. A new all-star program has opened in our area-Blue Angels. Here she is demonstrating her toe touch (jump).

I'm A Little Teapot.....Janie loves singing this.....

And so does Lexie...although Janie kept trying to take her hair bow. I love how Lexie tells her "NO" then begins singing again..but when Janie takes over to sing, Lexie again says "NO!" Fiesty little thing!!!

There are about a gazillion things that I love about each of my girls.
(I really never realized I could love someone so much until God handed me my daughters).
But, one of my favorite things is how happy they both are!
I am so blessed that both of them are silly, happy, funny, girls!
They love to smile and they love to be silly!
They make me laugh everyday!

They love to take pictures. They love to smile and pose.
When I tell them to "smile" or "say cheese".

I usually get a pose (or smile) like this.......

Happy 3rd Birthday, Janie!

I guess late is better than never, right? Well, I have FINALLY gotten around to posting some pics from Janie's 3rd birthday....did I just type that? Is my sweetie already 3 years old? How did that happen??

I remember every second of the wait to bring her home, to meet my daughter. I remember the pull God was giving me to begin the adoption process. I remember the lost referral, country closures, paperwork delays, etc. It all took around 3 years and those were the LONGEST 3 years of my life...now these past 3 years have flown by. All parents say that happens--and boy are they right!!

Present time!

Charlie calls Janie his "princess". He told his mom he wanted to get Janie a princess cake. He had this princess cup-cake made for her...Janie loved it. She just kept lovingly staring at it. She wouldn't eat it though..it was too pretty. The next day, I finally had to take the sugar princess of the top to get her to eat the cupcake!

Can't believe my girls are 2 and 3 years old!! Love them so much!!
